Arabic Jumaa Mosque Boston
Welcome to our website

Welcome to Palestine Cultural Center for Peace

The Arabic Jumaa Mosque and Palestine Cultural Center is a mosque and a community center that serves the spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of Boston’s Muslims by  offering its weekly Friday services.

Arabic Jumaa Mosque History

The building of the Arabic Jumaa Mosque at 31-41 Quint Avenue in Allston was previously owned by the Allston Congregational Church. Built-in 1890 to a design by Allston native Eugene Clark, it is a prominent local example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. The buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

After Allston Congregational Church was abandoned, the building was bought by a local business owner Anwar Faisal. Anwar converted the former church building into the mosque, making a great contribution to the Muslim community around Boston. The Mosque is open for everyone to attend the Friday prayers and Ramadan service.

We thank Anwar for supporting the Arabic Jumaa Mosque History and Palestine Cultural Center for Peace. Anwar, to this day, owns the building and contributes to the community activities within the Mosque.
